Krista Veneziano
Krista Veneziano is a graduate student pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at American University in Washington, DC. A native of Virginia’s Eastern Shore, Krista is the author of the zine collections Jest a Girl and Haikus Your Own Adventure.
In addition to writing prose poetry, Krista is the facilitator of creative writing workshops such as Making a Zine, and From Resilience to Representation: Why the World Needs Your Story. Her topics of interest include disability rights, queer identities, mental health advocacy, and PTSD recovery. She loves all things DIY and has a deep interest in community building through honest storytelling.
